The 2023 Korea AGP Pro was held in Gyeonggi State, Korea over the weekend on May 6th. This event served as an Olympia qualifier for the Classic Physique category later this year. The 2023 Mr. Olympia competition is scheduled to take place from November 2nd to November 5th in Orlando, Florida. Bodybuilders have until October 9th to earn an invite to the biggest competition of the year.
Athletes who finished in the top three at the 2022 Olympia are automatically invited back to compete at this year’s edition of the contest, with the exception of the Men’s Open. The winner of the Classic Physique category at the 2023 Korea AGP Pro will have the opportunity to face off against Chris Bumstead, the four-time Classic Physique Olympia champion who continues to make improvements year after year.
The competition was intense, with athletes from around the world vying for the top spot. In the end, Andrei Kozhokar emerged victorious in the Classic Physique category, followed by Kai Liu in second place, and Denis Romanov in third. Terrence Teo Kok Hua and Jun Young Yoon rounded out the top five in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
The 2023 Korea AGP Pro Scorecard will be released soon, but for now, congratulations are in order for Andrei Kozhokar on his impressive win. The gold medal and cash prize are well-deserved, and we look forward to seeing him compete at the 2023 Mr. Olympia in November.
As the bodybuilding community eagerly anticipates the upcoming Olympia competition, it’s clear that the athletes are pushing themselves harder than ever to achieve their goals. The 2023 Korea AGP Pro was just one example of the dedication and hard work that goes into this sport, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for these talented bodybuilders.
