Thai superstar Stamp Fairtex is set to face Ham Seo Hee in a ONE women’s interim world title clash. Stamp secured her spot in the fight after stopping Alyse Anderson in the second round of their atomweight MMA clash at ONE Fight Night 10 over the weekend. During the post-fight press conference, Stamp was asked about her thoughts on her upcoming opponent. She responded by saying, “I will say Angela Lee is much tougher, she’s the toughest opponent I’ve faced actually.”
Stamp previously challenged Angela Lee for the ONE women’s atomweight world championship last year and nearly defeated her in the first round with some massive body shots. However, Lee recovered and submitted Stamp in the second round. Since then, Stamp has rebounded with wins over Jihin Radzuan and Alyse Anderson. She also returned to kickboxing, defeating Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak in December. Although Stamp may not be too concerned about Ham Seo Hee during the press conference, she could reconsider when she starts her preparations for the South Korean MMA veteran.
Ham Seo Hee, also known as ‘Hamzzang’, has over 30 professional bouts to her name, competing all over the world. She has won all three of her fights in ONE Championship and will no doubt be motivated to claim gold on the global stage. With an impressive record, Ham is a formidable opponent for Stamp. It remains to be seen how Stamp will fare against her.
ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong announced that the promotion is giving the Lee family all the time they need to grieve the loss of Victoria Lee late last year. In the meantime, an interim world title for women’s atomweight division will be created, with Ham Seo Hee and Stamp Fairtex now confirmed to be battling for the belt.

However, with Ham’s impressive record and experience, Stamp may have to reconsider her strategy during preparations for the fight.
