Athletes in the Men’s Physique and Women’s Physique categories clashed over the weekend on May 6 at the 2023 1st Phorm St. Louis Pro. Competitors from across the United States gathered in St. Louis to compete in the show, which served as a qualifier for the prestigious Mr. Olympia competition. The 2023 Mr. Olympia contest is scheduled to take place from November 2-5 in Orlando, Florida, inside the Orange County Convention Center.
The athletes have until October 9 to qualify for the Mr. Olympia contest. However, unlike previous years, no competitors will be allowed entry based on points. The point system has been removed, and bodybuilders must win a pro show to qualify. This means that athletes have less time to earn an invite compared to 2022, and they have a limited number of opportunities to guarantee their passage.
The 2023 1st Phorm St. Louis Pro turned out to be an extremely competitive affair, with the Men’s Physique and Women’s Physique categories drawing a lot of attention. In the Men’s Physique category, Benquil Marigny emerged victorious, while Pamela Canfield won the Women’s Physique category.
The final results for the Men’s Physique category were as follows: Benquil Marigny in first place, Anthony Gilkes in second place, Puwanat Putoya in third place, Quincey Whittington in fourth place, Dustin Alvis in fifth place, Brett Mario Jackson in sixth place, Andres Ramos in seventh place, Roberto Lima in eighth place, Jamal Everette in ninth place, and Damar Turner in tenth place.
The final results for the Women’s Physique category were as follows: Pamela Canfield in first place, Emilija Martic in second place, Daniely Castilho in third place, Donna Williams in fourth place, Nadia Henriquez in fifth place, Elena Aviles Romero in sixth place, Marianne Von Gierke in seventh place, Marika Jones in eighth place, Jessica Belt in ninth place, and Stacey A Lewis in tenth place.
