LeBron James Breaks Silence on COVID-19 Vaccine Decision

He also acknowledged that he had initially been skeptical. “I think everyone has their own choice — to do what they feel is right for themselves and their family and things of that nature,” he said. “I know that I was very skeptical about it all, but after doing my research, I felt like it was best suited for not only me but for my family and my friends.”
Interestingly, LeBron’s decision to get vaccinated became evident on the basketball court. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver implemented a rule requiring players to be vaccinated in order to participate in games. While some players resisted, LeBron James was not among them. One notable player who did push back was Kyrie Irving, who was unable to play in home games for the Brooklyn Nets due to city mandates.
