Logan Paul and Bradley Martyn, two prominent figures on YouTube, are gearing up for a potential fight, whether it be in the boxing ring or behind closed doors. The feud began when Paul offered to “humble” Martyn in a sparring match in Puerto Rico. In response, Martyn challenged Paul to a fight at his home gym, Zoo Culture, with no cameras present.
Martyn is known for his impressive physique and strength, often testing his limits in the fitness community. He has gained popularity through hosting major productions on YouTube, such as The Full Send Podcast and Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk. On the other hand, Paul has built a massive social media following, with millions of followers on Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. He has also made appearances in the WWE.
During a recent episode of the Impaulsive Podcast, Paul took aim at Martyn after the latter claimed he could defeat Nate Diaz or boxer Devin Haney in a street fight. Diaz, in response, dismissed Martyn’s claims, stating, “Bro, you’re a podcaster.” This exchange prompted Paul to challenge Martyn to a sparring match in Puerto Rico, questioning his motives and suggesting that he was desperate for attention.
Paul stated, “Bradley, you gotta be humbled. That’s what you need. It doesn’t sound like you’ve had it yet, and I will invite you to Puerto Rico to spar with me to be humbled… Bradley, if you’re serious, I’m inviting you to Puerto Rico to promote my next upcoming fight, and I will spar you and I will f***ing humble your ass.”
Martyn responded to Paul’s challenge with revised terms for their potential fight. He called out Paul for his past controversial actions, such as filming a dead body for views, and accused him of seeking attention just like Martyn himself. Martyn also mentioned Paul’s strained relationship with his own brother and invited him to fight at his gym, Zoo Culture, with no cameras or content involved.
If the fight between Paul and Martyn does happen, Martyn would have a significant size advantage, weighing around 260 pounds compared to Paul’s 205-pound walk-around weight. However, it’s worth noting that Paul has legitimate combat sports experience, having faced off against boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match in 2021.
Interestingly, unusual fight arrangements seem to be a trend in 2023. Twitter owner Elon Musk and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg have expressed interest in fighting each other, with both parties seemingly serious about it. UFC President Dana White has confirmed their intentions, stating that Musk and Zuckerberg are “dead serious” about the fight. Musk has undergone a physical transformation, losing 20 pounds through periodic fasting, while Zuckerberg has been actively involved in Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments and training with UFC champions.
As the feud between Martyn and Paul escalates, fans are taking sides and eagerly awaiting a potential showdown. Only time will tell if they will meet in the ring and if Martyn can prove himself in a fight without traditional combat sports experience.
